How to visit Ayia Napa's WaterWorld: the day-ticket price, the online saving over the gate, when it's open, and whether the Greek-mythology theme is worth a full day with kids.

Where

Ayia Napa, Cyprus

Opening hours

Open daily April to October. Roughly 10:00–17:00 in April, May, September and October, extending to 10:00–18:00 from June to August. Confirm your date on waterworldwaterpark.com before you go.

Tickets

€47 (about £40) adult (13+) and €28 (about £24) child (3–12) at the current online rate; under-3s free. The standard gate price is €50/€30, so booking online saves a few euros and every ticket includes a free second-day visit.

Time needed

A full day — open to close. With over 30 rides and the wave pool, most families stay five to seven hours; under four hours is poor value.

In short

Visiting WaterWorld Waterpark

Book WaterWorld tickets online before you go — the online price is around €47 adult and €28 child, a few euros under the €50/€30 gate, and every ticket includes a free second day you can use in April, May, June, September, October or on a Wave Fest Sunday. It's a full Greek-mythology-themed day out 2km from Ayia Napa on the Ayia Thekla road, easiest reached on the 102 bus from Nissi Avenue. Best for families and groups who'll use the slides all day; a poor-value half-day if you only fancy a quick dip.

How to visit without overpaying

WaterWorld sits about 2km outside Ayia Napa on the Ayia Thekla road in Macronissos, near the new marina — far enough that you’ll want the 102 bus from Nissi Avenue (roughly 15 minutes, about €2 a single) rather than the 25-minute walk in full sun. Drive and there’s parking on site.

Buy your ticket online before you go. The online rate is a few euros under the gate — around €47 (about £40) for adults aged 13 and over and €28 (about £24) for children aged 3 to 12 (under-3s free), versus €50 and €30 at the booth. Online tickets are valid on any day of the 2026 season, so there’s no need to commit to a date; you also skip the ticket booth and walk straight to the turnstiles. Every ticket also includes a free second-day visit you can use on any day in April, May, June, September or October, or on a Sunday during the summer Wave Fest — ask at Customer Services on your first visit. Worth knowing if you’re staying nearby and might come back.

The day itself, and is it worth it?

The park is themed top to bottom on Greek mythology — over 30 rides with names like Aphrodite’s Falls, the Fall of Icarus and the Chariot Chase, plus Poseidon’s wave pool and the Lazy River Odyssey for the slower-paced. It opens daily from April through October, 10:00 to 17:00 in the shoulder months and to 18:00 from June to August.

Treat it as a full day out, not a quick dip. Most families spend five to seven hours here and the per-head price only makes sense if you do — turn up for a couple of hours and you’ve paid beach-club money for a fraction of the park. For a family or a big group it’s a genuinely good day, and the theming lifts it above a generic flume park. But if it’s just two adults wanting a swim, Ayia Napa’s Nissi and Makronissos beaches are free and ten minutes away — save WaterWorld for the day the kids or the group want the slides.

WaterWorld Waterpark FAQs

Should you buy WaterWorld tickets in advance?
Yes. The online price is a few euros under the gate — about €47 adult versus €50, and €28 versus €30 for a child — and every ticket comes with a free second-day visit. Online tickets are valid any day of the 2026 season, so book before you travel and skip the ticket queue on the day.
Is WaterWorld Ayia Napa worth it?
For families, teens and groups who'll spend the whole day on the slides and in Poseidon's wave pool, yes. The Greek-mythology theming is genuine fun and there are over 30 rides. If you only want a couple of hours' splash, it's poor value — Ayia Napa's free beaches do that better.
How do you get to WaterWorld from Ayia Napa?
It's about 2km out on the Ayia Thekla road in Macronissos, near the new marina. The 102 bus from Nissi Avenue takes roughly 15 minutes and costs about €2 a single; a taxi is quicker but pricier. Walking is possible but takes 25–30 minutes in the heat.
